Based in Baltimore, Winter Hart is a Black and Filipino American multidisciplinary artist, born and raised in Connecticut. His found objects, assemblages, and experimental painting techniques urgently prod at the limits of perception, the potency of dreams, and the means of escape. They portray mysterious landscapes touched by industry, extraction, and the wandering eye of our telescopes. Winter has exhibited throughout the United States and is represented in a number of prominent collections. He holds degrees from both California Institute of the Arts and Maryland Institute College of Art. He attended the Yale Norfolk School of Art residency in 2023.
